Emperor’s Dimsum & Tea House: Exquisite Chinese Cuisine in San Juan

I love this steam chicken and rice, the chicken so soft and yet crispier.

Went here on a weekend lunch with family. Food was pretty good. We ordered a lot for sharing, but possibly the only thing that we didn't like much was the chinese tenderloin because it was so chewy. Service was pretty good as well, staff was attentive and water was regularly topped up. They were also proactive and transferred food into smaller plates as soon as more food arrived. Ambience wasn't much, The space was an okay size but there weren't any rooms for reservation. You know that the decor needs updating as the area going to the comfort rooms generally looked in chaotic order --- there were stacks of boxes and stuff around meaning there wasn't any proper space to put them out of eyesight. However, these are pretty much nitpicks as you go here for the food and the food is really great. Parking is available but limited. Despite the hear, the security guard was pretty proactive with managing customers how to park and was respectful as well.

First, there were about 8 parking slots so parking is not a problem. Second, food serving was huge and tasted pretty okay. The Salted Fish fried rice presented to us was a lot that I asked if that was the small size that I ordered Asado siopao was filled with fatty cuts so don't order that. I love their Hoisin sauce and their free soup Everything you see on the photo looks at least 1.5 more or 2x than regular serving in other Chinese restaurants. The dishes I ordered can easily fill 3 to 4 persons. I was just craving for dimsum today. Next time, I will order main dishes to try. Only 3 staff - cook, cashier and waiter were working at a time, 4 including the guard. All very efficient just be patient.

Delightful place for dimsum and noodles lunch before going Chinese grocery food supply shopping in DEC right if front across the street. Specially if we want to get balut from DEC before lunch so it’s fairly fresh.

I had a very late lunch of of sweet sour pork rice bowl and polunchay in garlic sauce. Both were served piping hot- flavorful and delicious! Service was courteous and fast. The polunchay was good for two-four people so the rest of it was packed to go after I ate. Despite the traffic along Wilson, the helpful security guard guided me to ease my exit from the parking area. Happy customer here! Sorry, no photos to share. I was so hungry and ate right away.

Family sizes are reeeally generous servings. We were 9 in the group and had a bill of a little over ₱9,000, but we had leftovers that can still feed probably 9 more. Best we got was the Lechon Macau, second would be the Parrot Fish in Tausi.
